1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Nourio application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Nourio is an AI-powered meal planning application that generates personalised meal plans, grocery lists, and cooking guidance based on your dietary preferences, restrictions, and household needs.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the App. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans

Nourio offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription:

• Free tier: Limited meal plans per month, basic features, and calorie-only nutrition info
• Pro subscription: Unlimited plans, full macros, cooking mode, auto-scheduling, all cooking styles, and priority support

Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

6. AI-Generated Content

Meal plans, recipes, and nutritional information are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated content is for informational purposes and should not replace professional dietary or medical advice
• Nutritional values are estimates and may not be exact
• Always verify ingredients for allergens, especially if you have severe allergies
• Consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide (preferences, feedback, custom requests). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use this information to provide and improve our services.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the App (scraping, bots)
• Interfere with the App's operation or other users' access

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by Nourio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nourio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
